Melion’s role
ELP Ventures IV LLC, a Delaware limited liability company trading as Melion, provides membership-based flight sourcing and acts as an air charter broker. Melion is not a direct air carrier, does not operate aircraft or supply pilots or flight crew, and has no operational control. Flights are provided by independent, appropriately licensed direct air carriers. The carrier controls operational and safety decisions.
Melion’s booking documents identify whether it acts as a disclosed agent or as principal in arranging the sale. Collecting payment or issuing an invoice does not make Melion the aircraft operator. Melion remains responsible for its own services and applicable brokerage duties.
Your itinerary and separate agreements
A member may select one or more aircraft preferences and request one or more sectors. You may combine an empty leg with charter, two or more empty legs, charter sectors, or a single flight. Aircraft preferences within a sector are alternatives; they do not reserve several aircraft.
Melion Intelligence consults suitable flight providers and prepares options. Searching or submitting a request does not book a flight, guarantee availability or authorize payment. You approve each sector’s final offer separately. Unless expressly agreed in writing, sectors are separate bookings: a confirmation or refund for one does not confirm, cancel or protect another sector or connection.
Membership and transportation have separate terms. Your final booking identifies the operating carrier, Melion’s contracting capacity, payment recipient and applicable transportation contract. Charter and empty-leg payments are collected by Melion under the confirmed instructions and settled with the supplier. Existing card reservations retain their accepted authorization and capture terms. MedFlight remains a separate provider-confirmed, carrier-direct payment service.
Membership and renewal
An active paid membership is required to submit and approve member flight requests, except where a valid offer expressly waives the fee. Membership fees are separate from flight fares and do not buy transportation, guarantee an aircraft or guarantee savings. Your order states the plan, amount, currency, taxes, duration and included services.
Automatic renewal, if offered, must be prominently disclosed and authorized before purchase. Renewal notices and cancellation methods follow the order and applicable law. Cancelling renewal does not itself cancel a flight. Material changes to an existing paid agreement require the notice and consent prescribed by that agreement and law.
Changes, cancellation and refunds
Before you accept an offer, its cancellation, substitution, change and refund terms must be available. Applicable mandatory rights take priority. Melion’s service-fee treatment is stated with the offer; a cancellation fee or other penalty requires a disclosed lawful basis and your required agreement. A card on file is not blanket authority for new charges.
If a provider declines before a booking is confirmed, no replacement is booked automatically. If a confirmed flight changes or is cancelled, Melion communicates the change and the options and refund rights that apply. Material changes to the carrier, aircraft, routing, timing or price require disclosure and fresh approval where required. A statutory or contractual cash refund is not replaced with flight credit without lawful agreement.
For a mixed itinerary, review each sector before committing. A cancelled empty leg does not automatically cancel a separate charter, and a replacement may cost more. You must approve the replacement and its applicable fee. Melion must still perform any separate obligation it has accepted or owes under law.
Operator quotes and Melion fees
Melion charges a service fee of 5% for an empty-leg sector and 10% for a charter sector. The fee is calculated on the original operator commercial fare, excluding government taxes, membership fees and separately approved optional extras. Mixed itineraries apply the appropriate percentage to each sector, rather than one percentage to the entire journey.
The final offer shows the fare used as the fee base, the Melion fee, known mandatory charges, taxes, total payable and currency. The displayed total includes the mandatory amounts then known. An indicative estimate is clearly labelled and is not an attainable confirmed fare or proof of a saving. Where a required charge cannot yet be determined, the offer must identify it and cannot be accepted as a final total until material pricing is resolved.
The original comparable operator fare plus the service fee remains payable for the current flight. A later negotiated reduction is allocated to future-flight credit as explained below; it does not reduce that current payment. A higher quote or a material change in scope requires a revised offer and your approval. Melion does not promise the lowest market price, a minimum discount or a fixed number of offers.
Before you commit
Before acceptance you receive the operating carrier’s legal or trade name, aircraft and itinerary details, total price, payment recipient and deadlines, cancellation and substitution terms, material commercial relationships and any required broker-insurance disclosure. Melion does not hold broker liability insurance covering the charterer, passengers or property on the flight. The independent operating carrier provides the flight service and its own aviation insurance. Carrier coverage is separate from broker insurance; its scope, exclusions and applicable limits are governed by the carrier’s policy and must be verified for the selected flight. Melion does not represent that every listed operator’s coverage has already been verified.
You choose whether to accept an offer. Payment, a hold, an estimate, an assistant response or an upload of transfer evidence alone is not flight confirmation. Required funds must be verified, the carrier must accept under the booking terms, and Melion must issue confirmation. Required disclosures cannot be withheld merely to protect a business process.
Empty-leg limitations
An empty leg is a repositioning flight tied to another journey. Its route, departure window, aircraft and capacity are subject to provider confirmation and can change if the underlying operation changes. Only a stated aircraft model can be selected as a listed empty leg; a generic aircraft category or an ‘on request’ model is not confirmed inventory.
Do not rely on an empty leg as a guaranteed connection or return service. Each sector’s actual departure, arrival, passenger requirements and contingencies must be checked. A move from empty leg to charter requires a new approved quote, and the charter service fee then applies to that replacement.
Future-flight credit and deposited funds
For requests governed by these terms, the full documented reduction between the same provider’s original operator quote and its final negotiated commercial fare is allocated as Melion future-flight credit. The comparison must cover the same operator, aircraft, itinerary, currency and commercial inclusions. Planning estimates, removed services, different aircraft, tax changes or exchange-rate movements do not establish a credit. If there is no verified comparable reduction, no credit is promised.
The offer shows the provisional credit separately from the total payable. It is recorded as pending on selection and becomes available after the flight is flown and supplier payment is reconciled. Earning the credit does not depend on funding through a Melion Card deposit. You may apply available credit to a next or later eligible Melion flight at the redemption amount shown before approval. The credit earned by the current flight cannot fund that same flight.
New negotiated-discount credits have no scheduled expiry under these terms. Previously accepted bookings and credits retain their recorded terms, including an expiry previously accepted. Earned credit is not cash, a bank deposit, a transferable asset or a withdrawable balance. Purchased travel funds remain separate, with any applicable refund and consumer rights preserved. A cancelled or unflown flight does not vest pending credit; any adjustment after a refund or chargeback must correspond to the underlying transaction and applicable rights.
Amounts are recorded and settled in US dollars unless the accepted order expressly requires another currency. Required local-currency disclosures are provided where applicable. Your card issuer or bank may apply its own disclosed conversion charges. Membership fees and prepaid deposits are never described as earned savings.
Passengers, privacy and travel
Provide accurate passenger and itinerary details through the secure member flow, and obtain authority to act for other travellers. Consultation uses the itinerary and requirements needed to obtain an option; passenger identity and sensitive travel documents are shared only when necessary for fulfilment, regulatory requirements or another lawful purpose described in the privacy notice.
The carrier and border authorities decide boarding, entry, travel-document and operating requirements. A platform identity check is not a guarantee of travel eligibility. Aircraft drawings and cabin views are illustrative. Reviews and safety-history summaries describe available evidence and do not predict or guarantee safety. Medical suitability must be assessed by the medical provider; the platform is not emergency dispatch.

Nothing here excludes a mandatory consumer, privacy, accessibility or passenger right, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These terms do not impose an exclusive foreign forum, mandatory arbitration or a class-action waiver. New terms apply prospectively. Already accepted prices, contracts, deposited money and earned benefits are not silently replaced by a later website update.
